Joshua and Stefanie Huffines

Veterinarians / Owners

Dr Joshua and Stefanie Huffines are both natives of Lake County. Josh grew up in Eustis and Stefanie in Montverde. Stefanie received her bachelors degree from the University of Florida. While Josh attended Tuskegee University in Alabama for undergraduate education. Josh and Stefanie met in Veterinary School at Tuskegee University and graduated in 2013. Both have been practicing small animal medicine since. They are very excited to have their own practice together in their hometown. Josh and Stefanie live on a small farm in Altoona with their 2 children Rosalee and Wyatt and a menagerie of pets including 4 dogs, 4 cats, 4 horses, 1 mini horse, 2 pigs, 2 rats, 3 turkeys, and many chickens.



Amanda has lived in Lake county since 2000. She graduated from Harcum College with a Veterinary Technician degree in 1998 and has been working as a technician since.  She has a special love for surgery and was a surgical technician for 5 years at a local referral hospital. She has a husband and two children. They share their home with 3 dogs, 3 cats, 1 parrot, and 1 potbelly pig.  She spends most of her free time homeschooling her son.



April has been in Marion county since 2001. She has been working in the veterinary field as both a technician and receptionist for 19 years. She and her husband have 2 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 leopard geckos, fish, and a menagerie of chickens. Her hobbies include horseback riding, riding motorcycles, and going fishing with her husband. 


Receptionist / Office Manager

Tina has lived in Lake county since 2013. She has one son that is currently studying abroad in Europe. She has been working in the veterinary field for 10 years as receptionist to management. Tina and her husband have two miniature Dachshunds and one Golden Retriever. In her free time she enjoys DIY home projects, outdoor activities, spending time at the beach and relaxing at home with her dogs and family.



Isabella has lived in Lake county most of her life. She started out as a  kennel technician in 2020 and has worked her way up to vet technician. Outside of work she spends time with her fiance', son and two dogs.



Kiana has lived in Lake county since 2020. She has been in the veterinary field for about 3 years. Kiana is a college student working towards being a doctor in veterinary medicine. On her free time she enjoys riding horses along with spending time with her son and fiance'.
